Karthik Ramakrishnan is the founder and CEO of Armilla AI, a company specializing AI liability Insurance and AI risk management. Under his leadership, Armilla has developed one of the world’s first affirmative insurance coverages for the liabilities of AI, backed by global insurers including Swiss Re and Lloyd’s of London.

Prior to founding Armilla, Karthik spent over 15 years driving AI adoption across enterprises. He founded multiple AI-first companies and held leadership roles at firms like Element AI and Deloitte. His expertise spans advising, building, and scaling AI ventures, with a focus on fostering responsible AI use. Today, Karthik helps large corporations manage AI risks and ensure the reliability of AI technologies.
